A NIGHT OF LAUGHTER & GIVING
WEDNESDAY, MAY 11th
AT Perfecto Mundo, Commack, NY
SOLD OUT EVENT!
Laughter is Definitely the Best Medicine!!!
It was Wednesday Night Live on May 11th at the Perfecto Mundo Bistro in Commack, New York, where a capacity crowd enjoyed a Latin fusion dinner and a stand-up comedy show headlined by TV’s Last Comic Standing Joey Gay with proceeds benefiting the Michael Magro Foundation. The Foundation honors the life of Michael Magro, and perpetuates his spirit by helping children and their families face the challenges of pediatric cancer. Sharing the mission of the Cancer Center for Kids (CCFK) at Winthrop-University and partnering with the Hospital’s pediatric specialty areas have put the Foundation at the forefront of Long Island philanthropy.
In addition to Joey Gay, Foundation guests were entertained by stand-up performers whose credentials include the Conan O’Brien Show, MTV, the Howard Stern Show, and WBAB-Radio. Foundation President Terrie Magro thanked D.B. Frick, Owen Goldenberger, Tony Landolfi, Billy Mira, and Joe Pontillo for contributing their comic talents which raised $3740.00 for the evening and awareness for the Foundation’s compelling cause. She also expressed heartfelt gratitude to Liz Keschl; owner of Perfecto Mundo, and Chef Steven Del Lima for their boundless enthusiasm and generosity.
