Good evening!

Happy Autumn! What a beautiful day.

Today the great weather inspired me to run 20 miles. My time was 3:18:28. This was a great training run for me. I felt physically and mentally fresh at the end of the run. You can really sort out a lot of stuff in your head when you run for 3 hours.

I have a little more than a month to go for the Philadelphia Marathon. Training is right on schedule. However, fund raising is off pace.

For those of you who donated I say thank you and please spread the word.

For those of you who have not yet contributed please write a check payable to the Michael Magro Foundation.

Finally, for friends unfamiliar with my charity run. Robert Worlow (paraplanner) and I am currently training to run the Philadelphia Marathon. Our goal is to raise $50,000. These dollars help sick kids and their families during financial and emotionally draining periods in their lives.

In the past, most dollars raised where contributed to the Cancer Center for Kids at Winthrop Hospital.

Please do what ever you can to contribute. Any dollar amount would be greatly appreciated.

I'm getting too old to run the marathon. This may be my last.

I would like to make this one count in a big way!

With My Appreciation,

Joe
